Standardization Test

  • January to May (taken by end of May)
  • Kaplan, Princeton Review, online course, books, or on your own?
  • AAMC Student Manual – new and updated
  • When would I choose later dates?
    • Not usually advised -see your advisor
  • Working backwards
    • AMCAS application service opens in May, and you can hit the submission button the first week of June
    • Take your MCAT at least 30 days before your application
    • You should submit in June and be working on secondaries through July (unless you are doing international service this summer)
    • This means taking the MCAT before June
