Kristian Lax-Walker, M.S.

Kristian Lax-Walker is an Associate Professor of the Practice and the Director of Undergraduate Studies in the Preprofessional Studies Department. She guides students in their preparation to apply to the health professions, organizes programming, and teaches in the Compassionate Care in Medicine minor. Kristian serves as the faculty advisor for the Multicultural Pre-medical Society and on several college and university committees.

Kristian is a Ph.D. candidate in Counseling and Student Development at Kansas State University. Her research interests include college student development, advisor burnout, and well-being.
